The pedestrian street is home to high end stores such as Brown Thomas and Dublin’s premium jewellers, Weirs . You will also find Dublin’s flagship Bewley’s Cafe on Grafton Street.
Take a break from the shopping and wander around Trinity College or enjoy the street entertainment provided by buskers and mime artists. Many a successful career was spawned here on this street. Damien Rice and Glen Hansard of The Frames both earned their salt on the streets outside our Guesthouse in Dublin as buskers.

From the front door of our Harcourt Street Guesthouse the shopper needs only take a right and walk along the side of St. Stephens Green before reaching the top of Grafton Street.

Our Dublin City Guesthouse offers B&B accommodation near O Connell Street Dublin. O Connell Street is Dublin City’s main thoroughfare. Said to be one of the widest streets in Europe O Connell Street is the address of many landmark Irish Buildings. The General Post Office is located here, The GPO was headquarters to the republican movement during the 1916 Easter Rising. The famous Cleary’s Building is also situated on O Connell Street.
